Great Pyrenees - Casper - Extra Large - Adult - Male - Dog
Casper arrived at our shelter on 6/2/06. Age 7 wks at that time. 44.8 lbs 8/30/06, 86.0 lbs 8/30/07, 112 lbs 8/24/09 He is still a very shy boy. We can handle him and pet him but he would much rather be left alone. We are working on this, he does like to get into a kiddy pool and cool off with this heat. Has learned the doggie door to come in and will not mess inside. But does love to take the beds out side when he can. Loves to run in the fields for several hours. He was an owner surrender to our local shelter. Mom was a white German Shepherd, and dad was the Pyr. Was started on hw prevention due to his age. Brothers are Moxie II, and JD.
