Dax arrived at our shelter 7/26/12. Age: 1 1/2 yrs DOB 10/12/10 Size: 19.6 lbs Dax was an owner surrender due to having too many dogs, owner took in the mother did not get her spayed she became pg and had a littler of pups, they took all but Dax to the pet store. Dax was very scared on his arrivel and very bonded with mom, bother were not handled however they did have and older child in the home. They were outside dogs but have learned its nice being inside. Dax was not a fear biter would growl, I would not advise very small children with him. I have not checked him out with cats. Dax has come out of his shell and not friendly as is his mother Mary. Leashed trained and crate trained. Has been to the vet checked over and hwt was negative prevention was started 8/4/12. Adoption fee $87.00 this covers his vet bill but not the food or hw prevention.
